Lithia Park bear on council agenda for special meeting

The Ashland City Council will consider what to do about the bear that has been repeatedly sighted in and around Lithia Park at tonight’s special meeting at 5:15 p.m. in the council chambers. The city’s insurance company has demanded it take the issue to the city council.

In other business, the council will also consider:

• RVTD

• Contract Amendment for the FERC Part 12 inspection Engineering Services for Hosler Dam.

• A resolution amending the pay schedule for management and confidential employees for the fiscal year 2006-2007.

• A resolution clarifying conditions of employment for management and confidential employees and making conditions consistent with the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act by repealing Resolution No. 97-18.

• A resolution adopting a supplemental budget establishing appropriations within the 2005-2006 budget.

• A resolution transferring appropriations within the 2005-2006 budget.
