Oct. 29: CCC crown looms for Raiders The Southern Oregon University volleyball team's most anticipated home match in years plays out Saturday night when the 15th-ranked Raiders (17-3, 13-1) tangle with Cascade Conference leader and 13th-ranked Concordia University (16-2, 15-0).
Oct. 28: Raiders back in the race The Southern Oregon University women's soccer team capped its home season schedule with its second 3-0 Cascade Conference shutout victory in as many days Saturday, this time over sister school Eastern Oregon University.
Oct. 26: Bring on Roseburg The Ashland High football team has a post-win ritual: the final score of each Grizzly victory is branded (with ink) onto a wooden sword, which is then nailed to the locker room ceiling as the team chants in unison, "nail it, nail it" over and over again.
Friday, they did some more nailing, and not just after the game.
Oct. 26: Raider netters earn another easy win The 15th-ranked Southern Oregon University volleyball team tallied its eighth consecutive victory and 12th straight at home with a 30-22, 30-17, 30-26 Cascade Conference victory over archrival Oregon Tech, Friday night at McNeal Pavilion.
