Hannon stumps at lodge gathering The sign on the mountain road said "closed for the season," but atop the mountain the lodge was brightly lit and hosted over 200 members of the Mt. Ashland Association, local politicos and one incumbent senator.

· The Visions of Sustainability series continues at the Self and Soul Center by Laurel Vukovic, local writer and herbalist from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at 9820 Wagner Creek Rd., Talent.
