The caption of a photo printed on the front page of The Tidings Thursday contained some inaccurate information. Abram Ditman instructs more than 160 students in the two-day block scheduling at Ashland High School.
Also, a quote attributed to Ashland Parks and Recreation Commissioner Rick Landt in a Tuesday article requires clarification. Landt was not surprised that around 40 people came to a meeting on future park land acquisitions, but was surprised that none spoke in favor of acquiring more land for athletic fields.
The complete quote should have read, "I was surprised that there were some 40 people there. Dozens were advocating for trails and open space. I was surprised not a single person was there advocating for athletic fields. It appears that there is not as much excitement and energy behind athletic fields as open space and trails."
