In a world of finite resources, the Ashland Parks and Recreation Commission is continuing to seek public input on how to prioritize future park and open space land acquisitions.
· NATIONAL CHILDREN'S MEMORIAL DAY will be observed in the Rogue Valley from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Rogue Valley Medical Center's Smullin Center, 2825 E. Barnett Rd., Medford. A remembrance program to honor all children who have died will be presented and will close with a candle lighting ceremony as part of The Compassionate Friends' Fourth Annual Worldwide Candle Lighting. · TELEWORKERS OF SOUTHERN OREGON will meet for a coffee break and conversation at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Rogue Valley Roasting Company, 917 E. Main St., Ashland. The gathering is sponsored by the Ashland Fiber Network. For information, call 552-0743.

· LIPID PANEL PLUS GLUCOSE SCREENING will be offered by Providence Medford Medical Center's Senior Services by appointment Wednesday at 769 Spring St., Medford.
