Geraldine M. Etters

Geraldine M. Etters, 81, of Ashland died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001 at Ashland Community Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001 at Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home in Ashland. Pastor Steve Schmelzer of Joy Christian Fellowship in Medford will officiate. Private interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford.

Mrs. Etters was born May 26, 1920 in Coopertown, Okla., to Claude and Deta Mae (Follmar) Callen. She lived in the Rogue Valley for more than 50 years, including 36 years in Ashland.

She worked as a real estate broker in both California and Oregon. She also managed the former Sunshine Nursing Home in Ashland. She was a minister of the Pentecostal Church of God. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and houseplants.

Survivors include her son, Terry Etters of Klamath Falls; her daughter, Carol Walker of Medford; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Arrangements are in care of Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home and Crematory in Ashland.
