County seeks applicants for parks advisory committee

The Jackson County board of Commissioners is searching for two interested community members to vie for two openings on the county's parks and recreation advisory committee.
The nine-member committee advises the board on matters of promotion, development, maintenance and financing county parks and its recreational system. Committee members serve three-year terms.
Anyone interested can call the board of commissioners at 774-6116 or stop by their office in room 200 of the Jackson County Courthouse, 10. South Oakdale, in Medford.
